This is not a feature on its own: it is used directly by other parties de Mailmus.
Campaigns : campaigns use the sending API to reach each recipient at the scheduled time.
Automations : every send step of an automation goes through this same path.
API keys : every call is authenticated by a scoped API key, checked before anything is processed.
Domains & deliverability : the API refuses to send from a domain that is not verified yet.
Automatic suppression : before every send, the API checks that the recipient is not on the suppression list.
